This exceptionally cold hardy selection comes from southern Russia, considered the northernmost tea-growing region in the world. Glossy, dark green leaves can be harvested to make both black and green tea, while prolific, fragrant, snow-white flowers add beauty to the garden and attract late-season bees in fall. The bushy, upright evergreen shrubs grow 4–8 feet tall and can typically provide a light harvest 2–3 years after planting, with leaves harvested from May through September. Hardy in zones 7a–9.

Tea plants ship late April to early May in 3 ½ inch pots. Order early for best availability.
